The assessment of progress in the environmental efforts of the municipalities compared to the targets of the three dogmas must be simplified and clarified. Therefore, the Life project comprises a further development of the Dogme audit model. The dogma points must be made more precise and quantifiable, and work should be done to ensure that the Dogme model may be a step on the road towards an EMAS at city level.
The Dogme audit model will be ready during summer 2007. At that time it will have been tested in all five municipalities, as the new audit model will be used for the Dogme audit in 2006. Subsequently, it will be evaluated and adjusted. The audit model will also be discussed with the partners in Lithuania and Germany to ensure its applicability to local authorities in Denmark and internationally. |
